Elite Performance and Rehab

Dr. Karen Bonney received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina. She is certified as both a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Personal Trainer. She has been a trusted provider for athletes in football, ultimate frisbee, soccer, running, Olympic diving, power lifting, Crossfit, and physique competitors both on and off the field. Her expertise in acute injuries, chronic long-term maintenance and post-op care allows for the safest and quickest return to prior level of function. She utilizes current treatment concepts and tools such as Dry Needling, manual therapy and Kinesio Taping to enhance her patients return to the sport of life!

What we do

Physical therapy, dry needling, deep tissue massage, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizations (aka “graston”), joint mobilizations and manipulations, corrective exercises, home exercise programs (HEP), movement screenings and assessments.

Common Conditions Treated:

Low back pain, knee pain, ankle sprains, shoulder pain/rotator cuff impingement, tennis & golfer’s elbow, poor posture, instability, weakness, muscle strains and sprains, sciatica, neck pain, tendonitis, sports injuries, IT band syndrome, patellafemoral pain, piriformis syndrome, hip bursitis/pain, nerve pain, post-operative care, arthritis pain, etc.

We do not accept insurance but we will gladly provide you with a super bill/receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. All new patients or injuries must have a new evaluation first so we can properly assess the problem and create a treatment plan.
